About Matt Freeman

Matt Freeman has led the Credit Card Products team at Navy Federal Credit Union since March 2015. He is responsible for Product Development, Cardholder Communication Strategy, Competitive Analysis and Portfolio Performance for the Credit Card business, which ranks #10 by outstanding balances among U.S. Visa®-MasterCard® issuers.

Matt began his career in payments at Navy Federal in 2005 as a Supervisor managing early stage delinquency activities and personal finance management. In 2007, he moved to a role overseeing operations for credit card fraud prevention strategy, and chargebacks; after which, he joined the credit card products team where he was responsible for new account acquisitions, and portfolio sales growth.
